Reflection on Week 5: CONSUMER AWARENESS AND STRATEGIES

Raising awareness and strategizing so that consumers are interested in our products are two things that need to be studied by a company. In practice, there are two things that a company must learn, the first is consumer acquisition strategies and the second is consumer awareness and education. Consumer acquisition is a company process in attracting consumers' attention, so that in the end they are interested in buying the company's products rather than buying products from competing companies. In the process there are 6 stages that must be passed by the company. The first is awareness, at this stage what a company must do is introduce and make consumers aware that the products the company sells do exist in the market. The second is interest, at this stage the company is indeed required to make marketing as attractive and as good as possible so that consumers are not only aware and know what products we sell, but the company must also make consumers think "like this produc...

Reflection on Week 4: PRODUCERS’ PRACTICES AND CONSUMER PROTECTION

As explained in the previous chapter, as a company that provides products and services, it is important for stakeholders in a company to instill ethical values in its corporate governance. But besides that, a consumer is also required to instill ethical values in him. There are three categorizations in the ethical values of a consumer. The first is positive ethical purchase behavior. For example, a consumer is required to buy something with ethical characteristics, such as when we come to a supermarket to buy an item, then what the consumer should do is pay first for the item before he is allowed to use or enjoy the item, unless there are items that really can be tried first. There have been several instances where a consumer bought a snack at a supermarket but he had opened and tasted the food before paying. Even though this is legal, because in the end he will pay for the food he buys, but the food that has not been paid for is still categorized as unlawful food and has not been ...

Reflection on Week 3: Harmonizing Producers’ Priorities and Customer Awareness

Harmonization of the interests of producers and customer awareness are things that are highly desired by each party, where there is a mutualistic symbiosis between producers and consumers. In reality, these things are not easy to achieve, because in practice there are too many variables to satisfy both parties. In general there are 4 things that are covered in this chapter, which are pursuing consumer satisfaction, accommodating diverse values, ensuring effective governance compliance, and prospering with the community. The need for symbiotic mutualism between companies and consumers is because of the relationship between companies and consumers at the first place. For example, consumers provide resources in the form of land, labor and capital, then the company provides income in the form of wages to consumers. In addition, companies provide goods and services to consumers and in return, consumers provide consumption spending to companies. Several variables that are of interest t...

By having a good consumer awareness means that we have a good understanding about the goods or services that we used either its benefits or its disadvantage, so at the end we can have the right decision when we choose or apply the product. There are 5 stages of consumer awareness, which are unaware, problem aware, solution aware, product aware, most aware. In an era when many people are vying to be rich with the various products or services they sell, it is very important for us as ordinary people who are their target market to have awareness of the products or services they offer.
